We are thrilled to have some of the finest musicians in our area perform for us (with whom many of you are well acquainted): Jackie Truster-Sperl and Bernie Sperl and their band Homemade Jam, for our August meeting on Monday, August 13, 2018 at 7pm!!! (always the second Monday of the month)
at the Medford Memorial Community Center at 21 South Main Street, Medford, NJ.

Homemade Jam which is Jackie Truster-Sperl on guitar, vocals, and mandolin, Bernie Sperl on harmonica and guitar, Linda Truster (Jackie’s sister-in-law) on upright bass and vocals and Karla Iverson on banjo.

They have been playing together as Homemade Jam for about 4 years.
They do bluegrass, country, gospel, and standards with a swing.
They have played at several Wilmington Winter Bluegrass Festivals, Wells Mills County Park Festivals, Albert Hall numerous times, and at many open mics and local jams over the years.

Parking is behind the Center in the gravel area at the back. Please access the Center by the back entrance (where the back porch is.)
Doors open at about 6:45 pm. We will do our best to start at 7 pm so we have plenty of time to hear Homemade jam and have time for our all-level acoustic jam.

If you are not already a member of SJARMS and want to to come on August 13th there is a $10 guest fee. If you want to join SJARMS you can do so at the meeting, or you can join online by going on the www.sjarms.com

site and click on the membership tab at the top. The cost for membership in SJARMS is $45 for a single or $60 for couple/family.As usual we will have some refreshments and fellowship with other musicians and friends after the performers then have our usual acoustic jam until 9:25 pm. The jams are all-level and lately we have been able to run 3 rooms for jamming so that everyone gets multiple chances to lead a song. It has been a blessing to have the entire downstairs of the lovely Medford Memorial Community Center to use for our meetings- well worth the added expense for SJARMS!For more information: southjerseyarms@gmail.com.
