The South Jersey Acoustic Roots Music Society (SJARMS) is a local acoustic music society formed for the purpose of enhancing regional appreciation and performance of acoustic roots music (which SJARMS broadly defines as traditional acoustic music and contemporary acoustic music that is rooted in traditional music, such as blues, bluegrass, jazz, old time, folk, country, etc).

SJARMS meets on the second Monday of every month at the Medford Memorial Community Center at 21 South Main Street (in the heart of beautiful, historic downtown Medford, NJ) from 7:00 pm-9:30 pm.  The group hosts periodic house concerts featuring professional and semi-professional musicians, presentations on various aspects of acoustic music (either about a musician, style, instrument, etc.), open mic nights, jams, instrument workshops and other special events.
